As a dedicated sales assistant at Gentle Monster's Shinsegae Gangnam branch, I played a pivotal role in promoting and showcasing our diverse eyewear collection. Situated within a department store, the brand's clientele spanned across a wide demographic, engaging with customers ranging from their 20s to their 50s.

Working with Gentle Monster, a brand predominantly targeting the MZ generation, I recognized the significance of every customer interaction as a potential introduction to the brand, particularly for those over 40 unfamiliar with it. As a result, I prioritized conveying Gentle Monster's brand essence, comprehensively articulating its design intricacies, and highlighting the functional aspects of products to create impactful first impressions.

My tenure as a sales assistant was an innovative journey that underscored the pivotal role of effective communication in fostering consumer relationships. It highlighted the quintessential importance of a 'sales assistant'—acting as a vital bridge between the brand and consumers. By engaging directly with customers, I realized the crucial role I play in amplifying brand resonance and directly addressing customer needs.

Within this role, I consistently assisted an average of 50 customers daily, significantly contributing to an approximate revenue boost of £2,000. Leveraging effective sales presentations, I not only enhanced brand recognition but also bolstered Gentle Monster's reputation. Moreover, I adeptly handled customer complaints, employing a needs-based analysis to address concerns and elevate overall customer service standards.
