Etro Korea Intern for MD & E-commerce team

My tenure at Etro within the Merchandising and E-Commerce team was a transformative experience that amplified my proficiency and skills in various aspects of product operations and web management.

Meticulously updated sales reports and inventory on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis using Excel and contributed to operational efficiency through forecasting. I also developed my data analysis and forecasting skills, facilitating more informed decision-making in a dynamic retail environment.

Facilitated cross-departmental communication by translating and updating product manuals, which were essential for creating seasonal product mapbooks and conducting in-store training. This experience has helped me to understand the personality of the brand and its products, sharpen my communication skills and improve my project management coordination.

I took an active role in promotional strategy and web management, including organising seasonal markdown events, communicating effectively with stores, and assisting with web content and product placement on the e-commerce website. This offered invaluable insight into effective promotional strategies and practical web management skills.

Updated website content according to the e-commerce communication plan, including setting up promotional codes. This experience emphasised my attention to detail and ability to get things done quickly.

Utilised data analysis tools such as Google Analytics for comprehensive customer behaviour analysis, and collaborated across departments to improve website functionality and customer experience. This allowed me to enhance my data interpretation skills and become adept at collaborative problem-solving.

Expanded brand reach and revenue by thoroughly analysing customer characteristics across various platforms such as SSG, Lotte Mall, and Hmall and adjusting product uploads to suit each platform. In particular, I achieved a significant 40% increase in revenue from SLG products, which demonstrated my strategic marketing acumen and ability in customer segmentation.

I have also been responsible for driving fashion influencer marketing initiatives to boost e-commerce sales, providing valuable insights into the impact of influencer collaborations on driving sales and broadening my perspective on innovative marketing strategies.

Through these experiences, I enhanced my analytical insights, improved my communication and project management skills, and developed a sophisticated understanding of the intricacies of e-commerce operations, customer behaviour analysis, and effective online sales strategies.
